About Us

Our Mission

A to Z Collective Group is a trusted advocate for collegiate athletes, and we strive to not only help student athletes manage their Name, Image, and Likeness, but guide them on ways in which they can make a difference in their communities through mentorship.

Our Purpose

A to Z Collective Group was established as a non-profit organization (501(c)3) to unify individuals, corporate sponsors, collegiate alumni, dedicated fans, and charitable partners to help empower student-athletes to navigate the NIL landscape for good, and to ensure student-athletes across all sports can use purpose-driven NIL commitments to positively impact their communities in a variety of ways.

What We Do

Charitable Work

Charitable Work

A to Z Collective Group seeks to educate, encourage, and assist student-athletes in their efforts to engage with their local communities through charitable causes and activations. This will allow A to Z Collective Group to perform in a highly competitive environment by mobilizing collegiate athletes to help teach them how hard work, discipline, focus, and continued education can make a difference in a person’s life.
A to Z Collective Group will seek to identify a list of local and regional charities, that will partner with student-athletes. As part of the mission, A to Z Collective Group will partner with non-profit organizations to provide meaningful charitable experiences for student-athletes.
Donations: Positive Impact Fund
A to Z Collective Group will organize and deploy a targeted fundraising campaign to help generate the initial funding to support the charitable efforts and programs.

Athlete Onboarding

Student Athlete Onboarding

All student-athletes working with A to Z Collective Group, will go through an educational onboarding process to ensure they are properly prepared to manage their NIL commitments. Conducting this process will help ensure that our organization is 501(c)(3) compliant with our charitable cause. The core areas of onboarding will focus on the following:

Mentorship Program

A to Z Collective group provides the space, community, and platform to allow our student athletes to explore, discuss, ask questions and brainstorm ideas with their mentees to take steps to accomplishing goals and explore potential solutions to work through life, school or athletic challenges.
A to Z Collective Foundation is thrilled to announce the partnership with AbundaBox to enhance connectivity, educational support, and access to health resources through HealthPacks. These monthly HealthPacks are filled with resources to support your family’s wellbeing, as well as free medical testing, essential vitamins, healthy food card(s), medical support access, and more (covered by insurance – Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid).

The Team

Morris Ellington
As a former student-athlete, Morris Ellington supports the goal of the Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) initiative. His passion motivated him to establish A to Z Collective Group, Inc. (A to Z Collective Foundation) to help student-athletes recognize their talents and use them to engage with their local communities through charitable causes and mentorship. With years of experience in sales, marketing, contract negotiation and community relations, Morris leans on this previous experience and aligns it with his connections to sports associations. The unique combination has reconnected Morris to his passion for sports and his drive to help others succeed.

The Team

James E. Hicks
James E. Hicks is a native of Akron, Ohio and proud graduate of Garfield High School. As a student athlete, James built a strong foundation of discipline, hard work, and loyalty which carried him throughout his life and career. He is a recent retiree, culminating 45 and a half years of service to Bridgestone Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in the Legal and Product Analysis division. Such loyalty and commitment is a result of not only James’ inclination to excellence and hard work but also his candid and genuine heart for building relationships and fostering community.
James is a hardworking and fun-loving husband and father, now spending much of his time in retirement supporting the adventures of his wife of 35 years as well as his adult children and playing endless rounds on the golf course. With James’ proven dedication to the missions set before him throughout his life, he now explores opportunities to extend that knowledge and experience to others.
